Questions & Answers

Have a Question?

Ask a Question
  • Is this glass or plastic? Trying to see how to clean and maintain. We don’t want pliable plastic

    The SanRemo glazing is:

    • 8mm twin-wall polycarbonate roof panels - polycarbonate panels are virtually unbreakable and block 99.9% of harmful solar UV rays protecting you and your belongings
    • 100% UV-protected acrylic wall panels are high impact resistant and provide the clarity of glass
For something in 4mm tempered safety glass (or glass sides with with 10mm twinwall polycarbonate on the roof), take a look at the Janssens Arcadia

  • Is is possible to install a doggie door in one of the panels or with one of the sliding doors?

This should certainly be possible, as there is a very large range of doggie doors on the market.  See, for example, this one https://www.petdoors.com/products/ideal-fast-fit?variant=40494257209509 which is designed to fit in a sliding glass door without doing any permanent modifications. You would have to determine whether this would work for you, but it might be possible to adapt to the SanRemo.  Solutions involving cutting the panels (or any alterations to the structure) would void the warranty, and would have to be done by someone familiar with cutting/working with acrylic.  I would suggest consulting your local handyman for a recommendation.  We have some resources here on our installation services page that can help you find local help to help you get started.
