Is it possible to construct this as a stand alone greenhouse, or does it need to be mounted on an existing building?
This Canopia lean-to greenhouse kit is designed to mount on a wall. It does not stand on itself. The Janssens 8x10 ft Modern Pent Roof Greenhouse is a stand alone greenhouse. Check it out.

No, on this model the door can only be built as shown, on the left side as you look at the house.
