I am looking for a cover for an outdoor smoker, and need to know the wind resistance specs and whether or not these units are approved for commercial use. Either under the 2015 International Bldg. Code, or ICC, and Evaluation Service Report. Can you assist? I already have two on site that were erected during Covid, but Code Enforcement is now concerned. My thanks. Katherine Garrett
Hi Katherine,
The wind rating on the Martinque is 56mph or 90 km/hr.
The snow load rating is 24.6 lb/ft2 or 120kg/m2
The Declaration of Performance Certificate dated 1/1/2022 is here, and may suit your purposes for your Code Enforcement question.
