PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Shade cloth curtains are an optimal solution for greenhouses. Especially in greenhouses with garden glass or ISO safety glass, shading is absolutely necessary to prevent "burning" on your plants from too much direct sunlight. These nice high quality self-retracting roller white aluminized shade cloth curtains filter out excess sunlight, reducing heat on hot summer days. Lower inside temperatures help protect your special plants and create a cooler environment for your entertaining.
These Hoklartherm shade clothes are optimized for Janssens Victorian, Junior Victorian, Modern, and Gigant greenhouses, and may also fit many other makes and models of greenhouse, such as Hoklartherm, KGT, Janssens, Vego, and others.
A spring tensioned roller is mounted in the housing with the shade cloth ready to be pulled out using the included pull cord. The roller shade housing is fastened at eave height (for wall shades) or on the roof ridge (for roof shades) using brackets and screws, hanging chains, etc. The wall roller shade can be pulled out and attached to the floor profile of the greenhouse using the screw hooks supplied.
Note: The available pull out length of the shade cloth fabric is less than the full amount of cloth on the roll - rolls should not be used in applications longer than the indicated maximum pull-out length. The fabric length is longer, however several wraps of fabric must remain on the roll to maintain tension on the fabric attachment point and avoid the risk of detaching the cloth from the roller.

These are available for both the roof and for side walls. The double roll roof units will hang down from the ridge beam and consist of 2 rolls each: one going left the other right. The sidewall and pent roof units are sold as individual single rolls.
Each roll has a certain usable pullout / extension length of shade cloth fabric. There are 6 available widths, with various pull out lengths.
Note: For Janssens Victorian, Junior Victorian, Modern, and Gigant greenhouses - each standard glass section is 29.5" wide. So the 59"- & 88"-wide sets work well, depending on your portal frames, spandrels, window placement, and shelving plan.

The special Hoklartherm shading fabric is a white acrylic weave with a high aluminum content, making it highly reflective. Solar radiation is reflected by the fabric and thus not converted into heat (reflection principle, roughly corresponds to that of a mirror - no heat is generated on a mirror; in contrast, a black background gets really hot). The opinion is often expressed that interior shading is not effective and that exterior shading is therefore preferable. This is only partially true, the right shading material - light/white with a large amount of silver, moisture-resistant, UV-stable, dirt-repellent - is crucial.
Shading should be installed before the plants in the greenhouse have grown too large. The sun can heat up your greenhouse quite a bit. If the temperatures rise too high, the plants practically curl up. This is how they try to brave the heat. However, this severely limits plant growth. A bad harvest or even a complete crop failure is imminent. Interior shading can help here. Although the interior shading still lets the sunlight through the greenhouse panes, it gives the plants enough shade and thus lowers the greenhouse interior temperature. Importantly, the heat must escape through appropriate ventilation options - greenhouse windows, doors, exhaust fans.
All large production greenhouses have automatic interior shading with this type of shading fabric! Advantage: The shading is not exposed to the weather (wind and rain). This helps create a pleasant and growth-friendly climate in the greenhouse. Build and trust in our many years of experience!

Just finished my Victorian 36 greenhouse. It was quite a challenge doing it mostly by myself but the engineering and fit was amazing. Everything we needed came with it and was well organized. Hope to have it filled up soon. I will say though, the directions and construction guide could use some real help. It was way too vague and left out many steps that would have been very helpful down the line. A step by step video would be great. Overall very happy with it!
Exactly what I need pretty quick shipping
I was looking for a vinyl/plastic shed rather than metal or wood for the side of my garage. This shed works perfectly, but I'd be cautious in a windy/wet environment unless you apply extra silicone sealant and properly anchor it.
Shed assembly time was about 6 hours by myself, and all of the instructions were easy to follow. There is also a video online that you can use as an assembly reference, but it doesn't replace the step-by-step instructions.
I would buy it again.

This is the standard roof vent opener for my greenhouse. I needed to replace both of mine after several years of use.

I had a great experience with Rep. Steve. He made sure to listen to my needs and helped make my experience easy. The greenhouse is amazing! I would suggest purchasing screens and or shading because it can get really hot inside even with the windows opening. I plan to use mines as a sunroom/outdoor area so not quite finish with everything. However I have attached Pic of the build.

We purchased this igloo at the beginning of November and it has been one of the best investments we have made in our outdoor space. We have a nice deck and patio that we use during the Spring. Summer and Fall here in Northwest Ohio with many comforts like cozy outdoor furniture and an outdoor TV and outdoor kitchen. But in the winter it sits empty. This igloo now sits on that patio with some of our outdoor furniture inside of it. We put 2 electric space heaters in it and it keeps it quite warm inside. We are able to enjoy our patio now in the winter. Everyone of our friends and family love it. We even set it up to have a big Igloo party just before Christmas with 10 people in it. Most of the time, we have it set up with some outdoor recliners and an outdoor loveseat to fit 4 to 5 people. We put lights inside it and even bring a little 21 inch TV out there to watch every now and then. We have so much fun sitting outside in the winter drinking wine and enjoying our patio. Thank you so much, my greenhouse store for this item. They were very helpful in answering all the questions I had about it when I called them and the shipping was very fast. We love it and I'm sure we will love it for many years to come.
purchased this for my son and his family for an early Christmas gift. The pit twinkle lights on it, along with a chair set with comfy pillows. They will use it as an outdoor TV room.
