Hoklartherm | Shelf for RIGA Greenhouses

DESCRIPTION

A RIGA 10" deep Top Shelf or 25" deep Bottom Shelf.  The shelf is made of anodized aluminum, with strong twin-wall polycarbonate inserts.  The inserts can be removed to allow for taller plants to grow through part of the shelving area.

The RIGA Greenhouses support a two-shelf system on each side.  The top and bottom shelves are different widths.

You can use the two layer shelving system with removable shelf inserts to better utilize the space and organize your plants.

• Top Shelf: 10" D x full length (choose your RIGA model, above)
• Bottom Shelf: 25" D x full length (choose RIGA model, above)

The shelves can be purchased either as part of the RIGA Enhancement kit, which includes one top shelf, one bottom shelf, and a foundation frame, or the shelves and foundation frame can be purchased individually.

The shelves are secured to the long axis of the greenhouse using the existing later supports.  The top shelves are secured to the side frame with diagonal braces.  For the RIGA XL models, the bottom shelf is secured to the side frame using diagonal braces.  For the RIGA and RIGA s models, the bottom shelf attaches to the end wall cross bar.

The white twin-wall polycarbonate shelf inserts can be removed to allow for tall plants such as tomatoes or beans if needed, or to allow inserting the optional (purchased separately) heavy-duty seed trays (bottom shelf only) when you are preparing baby plants before the growing season starts.

What about RIGA XL7 and RIGA XL8?  For these models you have two choices: order the XL6 or XL5 shelf and have a space (because the shelf will be shorter than the greenhouse), or order the XL9 shelf and remove one or two inserts and shorten the front L-Bracket (an easy cut).

What if I want the shelf to be shorter, or I want to split one shelf and use half on each side of the greenhouse?  You can order shorter shelves than the length of your greenhouse, or you can order a longer shelf and cut the front L-bracket (an easy cut).  You may need an additional diagonal support if you split one shelf this way, so contact us to get that extra part included in your order.
