The 12ft 10in x 13ft 2in Royal EOS T Glass Greenhouse Kit for Stem Wall has a romantic style that leans heavily into the Victorian aesthetic. It features narrower glass panels that those of most Janssens models. It fits in nicely with any garden style. Thanks to the classic orangerie shape and steep roof of this model, you will enjoy a lot of space and light in the greenhouse. Its entry portico roof peak is slightly lower than the main room, which adds architectural interest. The roof has a dramatic 38º slope, making it less susceptible to snow accumulation. The floor plan is a T-shape. The narrow 4mm tempered glass panes (14 inch wide) add to the vintage appearance. The design features a low door threshold for easy entry.

This model is specially designed to sit on a 15.75 inch high stem wall (customer builds their own stem wall). It has slightly shorter side-walls and the door drops below the frame to accommodate the wall.  There are two available heights.

It includes:

    • 2 with automatic openers (heat-operated, no electricity needed)
    • 2 with spindle openers
  • 2 louver windows with automatic openers (heat-operated, no electricity needed)
    • Winter covers for the louver windows included
  • Double hinged full-length glass doors

The Royal EOS T comes in both a ground mounted and this stem wall mounted configuration. However, unlike most Janssens models the addition of a stem wall will not make the greenhouse taller because its side walls are shortened to compensate.  Nor will you need a drop door kit or extra glass pieces over the doors - all glass and frame profiles are sized for the stem wall.

Like all Janssens greenhouses its 4mm tempered glass and 17 gauge aluminum frame make it resilient enough to withstand strong wind gusts and moderate hail. The primary benefit of the EOS Royal T over other T-Shaped models is its aesthetic, and it is primarily chosen by gardeners and homeowners who want a true vintage look.

Note that Royal EOS T models are no longer kept in stock and that units must be special ordered. Thus, lead times will be longer than other models.

  • Can the Victorian greenhouse be built so that one of the long length side gable ends can be open and flashed to a brick house?

    If I understand the question correctly, the answer is yes.  The greenhouse can be ordered to work with one of the 'ends' connected to a wall.  The other option would be a 'lean-to' configuration where the roof is flat slanted up to the connection to the house (no gable).  Give us a call at 888-648-5333 to discuss your project.
