DESCRIPTION

The design of the Santa Barbara 6ft or 9ft wide Redwood Lean-To Greenhouse/Sun Room is simple and functional. Redwood is the perfect material for a Greenhouse, is unsurpassed as a garden structure.  This kit is the frame only plus the 6mm twin wall polycarbonate roof glazing - no wall gazing.  The wood is rabbeted for the glass, and the 1x2" trim pieces are included, you will be supplying your own glass or other wall glazing.  We recommend 3/16" tempered glass.

Redwood is resistant to weather, insects, decay and should last a lifetime with no special treatment. High quality knot-free California redwood is carefully chosen for its beauty and durability. 

A lean-to greenhouse can fit into a narrow space against your house or garage. If located against your house it will reduce heating costs. If placed over a door or window the heat from your home can be utilized to maintain growing temperatures throughout winter. Another advantage is the easy access from your home into your greenhouse. How to specify which end the door is on:  Visualize you are standing inside the greenhouse, with your back to the house.  Which way do you turn to see the door? turn right? Right door.  Turn left? Left door.
